1. Introduction
AddiPass ("AddiPass", "we", "us") operates the AddiPass mobile and web application, a football community service that lets players organize games, find other players, manage groups, request substitutes through SuperSub, and track their statistics. This Privacy Policy explains what personal data we process and the choices available to you.
This policy applies to the AddiPass apps (iOS, Android, web) and to this website, addipass.com. By creating an account or using AddiPass, you acknowledge the practices described here.
2. Data we collect
Account & profile data
When you sign in (via Google or Apple) we receive your name and email address. You then choose a username. You may optionally add a profile photo, date of birth, nationality, phone number, football position, preferred foot, skill level, and playing style. The optional fields can be left empty and edited or removed at any time.
Location data
To show games and players near you and to power features such as "Players Around Me" and SuperSub, you may add one or more locations to your profile and, with your permission, share your device's current location. You can revoke location permission at any time in your device settings.
Activity & community data
We process the content you create in the app: groups, game sessions, messages, polls, community events, ratings and reviews of other players, and the statistics derived from your matches (games played, goals, assists, attendance, Man of the Match, cards, and so on).
Technical data
We collect limited device and technical information needed to deliver and secure the service — device type and operating system, app version, language, a push-notification token, and integrity/anti-abuse signals (see processors below).
Contact form
If you write to us through the contact form on this website, we receive your name, email address, and message so we can reply.
3. How we use your data
- To create and operate your account and profile.
- To provide core features: games, groups, SuperSub, events, chat, ratings, and statistics.
- To show relevant players, groups, and games near you.
- To send notifications you have opted into (game reminders, invitations, SuperSub opportunities, and similar).
- To keep the service safe — preventing fraud, abuse, and unauthorized access.
- To respond to your support requests and contact-form messages.
- To understand and improve how the service is used, in aggregate.
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.
4. Legal bases for processing
Where the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) or similar laws apply, we rely on: performance of a contract (operating your account and the features you request); your consent (optional profile fields, location sharing, push notifications, optional analytics); legitimate interests (securing the service, preventing abuse, improving the product); and legal obligations where applicable. You may withdraw consent at any time without affecting prior processing.
5. Sharing & service providers
We share data only as needed to run AddiPass. Other users see the profile information and community activity you choose to make visible (for example your username, photo, ratings received, and group membership). Beyond that, we rely on a small number of processors:

These providers process data on our instructions and under their own security commitments. We may also disclose data where required by law, or to protect the rights and safety of our users.
6. Data retention
We keep your personal data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we delete or anonymize your personal data within a reasonable period, except where we must retain certain records to comply with legal obligations or to resolve disputes. Aggregated, non-identifying statistics may be kept.
7. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent. Many of these actions can be done directly in the app (editing or removing profile fields, adjusting privacy settings, deleting your account). For anything else, contact us using the details below. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
8. Security
We use technical and organizational measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections, access controls, and app-integrity checks. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information and to respond promptly to any incident.
9. Children
AddiPass is intended for users aged 16 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children below that age. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will remove it.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as the service evolves or as the law requires. When we make material changes, we will update the date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app.
